Used polysilicon production plant with the capacity 150 ton per month of the electronic grade polysilicon. Main product of the plant is polysilicon chunks, but plant is equipped with several silicon core growing furnaces to produce small silicon rods (used to produce large polysilicon rods) and monocrystalline silicon ingots. The technological process of the plant is a traditional polysilicon production process, a reaction of metallurgical grade silicon with hydrogen chloride and nitrogen, to produce trichlorosilane (SiHCl3), this trichlorosilane is then purified and passed into large chemical vapor deposition reactors, where it is precipitates on the small silicon rod to form high purity polysilicon in the form of large rods. The large rods are then broken into chunks of specific sizes, processed, packaged in clean rooms, and shipped to the customers. Polycrystalline silicon and monocrystalline silicon mainly used as a raw material for the electronics production industry (as semiconductor), or for the solar industry (to produce photovoltaic panels).
